The Squadron Standard was granted by HM King George VI and promulgated on 9th September 1943. It was presented by Air Marshal Sir Owen Jones KBE CB AFC BA FRAeS at Wunstorf on 28th August 1954. A new Standard was presented by Air Vice-Marshal P.S.Collins AFC BA FBIM at Binbrook on 17th August 1984 and the old Standard was laid up in Binbrook village church on 19th August 1984.
