More on "Legs"

Further to the continuing saga of "Legs" , the squadron mascot whilst XI were based at Wunstorf.

Gordon Blagbrough who was a pilot on XI from Dec 1952 to May 1955 has kindly sent in this photo, taken on 6.4.55 and originally published in the Yorkshire Evening Post.

"“Legs” was for a short period the property of one “Fangs Anderson”, station dentist, who was persuaded to release him to the Squadron. I believe he was finding him too much to cope with single handed, so was happy to let the chaps have their new toy, who turned out to be a great hound and loads of fun."
