Group Captain Ian Thomson RIP

It is with sadness I have to report the loss of one of our members.

Group Captain Ian Thomson was C.O. of XI Squadron from  1976 to 1977 at RAF Binbrook.

Until very recently he was a Vice President of our Association.

One of the great RAF characters until his health slowed him down, he will be fondly remembered by his contemporaries and many friends.

The funeral will take place on Tuesday 31 August at Three Counties Crematorium, Braintree, CM7 5PB, at 1330.

Family flowers only, but charity donations may be sent to the funeral directors, H.J.Paintin Ltd, 60 Withersfield Road, Haverhill, CB9 9HE.
